Is there any cheaper way to travel to Disneyland?

My friend and my family had planned to travel Disneyland by next year. But, we try to budget our travel expenses as much as possible. If possible, l don't want to overspend while staying in Disneyland area. Can anyone tell me, when lm at Disneyland, where can l get the reasonable accommodation including food and etc? Actually, visiting Disneyland had also been one of my childhood dreams. So, l hope my dream will come true soon.

I have been to Disneyland in California. I stayed at the youth hostel in Santa Monica and got a minibus transfer out there. I suggest you get a room in a guest house. You could get a cheap flight over there if you compare flight prices and do not go in peak season. I would suggest you take some food with you and do self catering. If you eat out it would be pricey around the Disneyland area and would be cheaper near your accommodation. Good luck planning your trip.
Thanks for your detailed info. I appreciated it. Yes, if eating at Disneyland area of course is costly..Hope at least it could helped us saved a bit, while travelling..
