Usually it happens .... that when we enter in the job
we spent a lot on clothes, good food, entertainment and other enjoyable things
and very little on upgrading our subject!!!! that is, of course on brain. Do you also feel that Feeding brain is equally important as feeding Stomach
???

When I graduated from college in the 1970's as a secretary, we typed on regular typewriters, used old adding machines, and still erased our typing mistakes with a typing eraser. We did not have computers, fax machines, word processors, spreadsheet programs, etc. Over the years I learned on computers that were tied to large machines in the basement of our office building. Later I had to learn codes in the first word processing program our office had. There was no such thing as a pull down menu. Finally we have programs like Word, Wordperfect, Excel, etc. These programs even correct grammar. I had to know these things without the aid of a computer to help me. It is nice not to have to post bookkeeping entries in large ledgers when you can just open up Excel and post away. Also, there was no such thing as the internet, web pages, etc. I have learned with book in hand and classes if necessary. If you just go to your job and refuse the keep learning in this day and age, you will be left behind for the unemployment line. Learning is not an option. You can always miss a meal but you can't miss knowledge and not pay a price.
