What about online teaching as a way to earn extra buck?:)

English teaching is catching on here in the Philippines as many Asian nationals especially Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese come to my country just to learn the language. Thus, teachers of English go for ESL teaching offline. Now that there is internet, learners of English go online learning instead of going abroad, and with this, it is a good chance to earn extra income even by just staying at home through teaching online, and I know one site wherein teachers can find students online. what do you think about this?:)

Hi, I visited your country last month and it is so nice to know that you remember. Truly and I mean every single word of it that my journey was mesmerizing. hi there, France7.. kamusta, kababayan? tell me more about this teaching online thing. i don't have any formal background in teaching nor in the English language but i've been told (modesty aside) many times that my English is good. i am really interested in earning extra income and in sharing what i learn through teaching English. if it's not too much to ask, perhaps you could write more extensively about it.. happy myLotting!

howdy dreamleaper:) i like your alias here. well, teaching English online is a very interesting job as you come to meet different people with different nationalities. Other than that, it is also one good way to improve one's english. Basically, most students want to have a chance improving their conversation skills in english because in their country, they are not given much chance to speak although they have learned english grammar much. thus, teaching english is online is more on conversational english. regarding students, they want teachers who have neutral accent if not american. enjoy and blessings!:)

This is a wonderful idea. I teach English and I earn money from that. It's fun and exciting. Although it can be tiring sometimes but once you get to talk to them it doesn't feel like work at all. The problem is when you have to encourage yourself to be happy and lively even you are down. But that's the challenge of working.
