To wax or to shave...

Which do you prefer? I prefer to wax as you eventually will not have to do it as often. I did wax for about a year or so but can no longer afford to do so. I now shave but still have some bald patches on my legs from waxing. I can't wait to be able to afford to wax again.

I shave my legs! I always have and always will! I will never wax my legs! I hear it can be very painful! It is not cheap either! I will stick with shaving my legs any day!

It does hurt to a certain extent but at least with waxing, you don't have to do it as often as shaving.

I totally prefer to wax. Not only do you have to not do it so often...but it also reduces the total amount of hairs that grow. Plus I get less of a razor burn look or feel. Plus I get less ingrown hairs. For a one time pain it lasts longer than a shave.

I've always shaved mine though the hair is so light that you can't really see it anyways. My Mom has never shaved her legs and they are as smooth as silk. She was told when she was young that if she never shaved them, she'd never have to...turned out that in her case it was true.

Your mom is VERY lucky indeed!! I do have to admit, you can't really see the hairs on my legs as they are blonde (still) but there are still quite a bit...I do however have bald patches near my ankles from where I used to wax all the time:)

i did once and i hate waxed feeling ..is that really good i prefer shave...
i try wax and after peel off is so sticky no matter how i wash is still sticky , and i apply powder ,the feel really bad ... i try to use wax cream is much more better but i still prefer normal shave is cheap too
