AKC,UKC,CKC???? Wow all those initials mean what?

There's a Canadian Kennel Club & a Continental Kennel Club. Both use CKC so I don't know which one takes preference.

i think it depends where you live to be honest. In the states I would think that the continental would take precedence over the canadian.But in canada I think the canadian would take precedence. If you see what I mean.

Some people want a pet that they now is from quality though to me it's more about personality that attracts me to my pet.

No it doesn't mean that the pure breed is better than a mix breed it just means that the sire or dam was proven in the ring.

I know what you mean that if you get an AKC that you can't breed it and claim or get papers for the pups unless you have the breeding rights when they sell you the pup.

I know that when I bought my husky that I bought the breeding rights which means that I got the right to breed my dog and get papers for the pups as long as the other dog I breed it to has papers.

The breeding rights cost me 200$ but that's not to much. my pup cost me about 800$.

Did you know that you couldn't even show the dog unless you get breeding rights.

The papers are just a means to get money from the individuals that buy the pups.
