Most people will spend their weekends going to the church, hanging around with friends, going to the mall, surfing the net, cleaning the house, watching a dvd, etc. In your case since you're new in the city why not spend your weekends exploring the city? You might find something that will interest you.

For a lot of young office people, they use the weekend to keep to themselves as a form of relaxation by indulging in surfing online, playing games, etc. I feel weekends should be an opportunity for their exposure to the sunshine, walking out of door, with their family, children, parents.

As you said Due to recession so you may be thiking of to save money so i can suggest you get an intresting Novels from Near by books store or Library , it saves money by spending time outside and also have a lot of thrilling and intresting if you like reading novels.........

Hi, Throughout the week you remain BUSY. Weekend is the Time U GIVE TO URSELF & Ur Loved-Ones. Do something which is very Near to Ur Heart,which will make U happy(e.g-finish the novel which U started but could not finish,gardening,listening Ur favorite songs,spend time with those Friends who matters,Laugh/smile...keep some substatial energy deposit etc). I spend weekend with my family,go once in a month to Old-age-home friends! =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.
