The Messiah Part V  | | | |  I guess it is time to end this, I was planning on more of these but time to get to the point.
Lets try to keep an open mind here. I do believe that Jesus was the Messiah told about that was to come in the old testament, But.. Big But. I believe him to have been only a man. A man that had the spirit of God in him, a man that died, and was resurrected by God, A man who brought a new covenant to man, A man of god that Will return to bring all nations to worship the one true God.
So If the title Messiah was a title for the King of Israel, And Jesus was of the line of David and the rightful king of Israel, then he was the Messiah.
But what about the AntiChrist? this can be defined in a few ways, those who say that Jesus was not the Christ or Messiah can be called Antichrist, this is not the same as being evil or the son of Satan. It can be likened to those in America that believed that George Bush stole the election and was not the true president, they would be called the anti-Bush. The second way this can be defined is one who has no legitimate claim to the kingship, a person who has supplanted the rightful king of Israel, he would then be a false Messiah or Antichrist. which will now take us to our next point.
For a moment lets keep a very open mind. Lets suppose that Jesus was the Messiah, and that he was indeed human and kept to the laws and traditions of his people the Jews, as it is said he kept the law perfectly. Then he would have been married. In Fact the marriage feast where he does his first miracle was His marriage. I can go into this in a separate post if anyone wants to challenge this. So lets say he was married. If he was the legitimate Messiah, King of israel, then so would his heirs, So if Jesus had children, then his children would have right to the title of "King of Israel". If such a blood line existed, they would be very dangerous to the Church of Rome wouldn't they? The church would do anything to keep them silenced, including giving them fortunes and lordship over nations.
If you would like I will supply you with the blood line of Jesus, But lets talk again about the Antichrist. If someone of this bloodline also had with in him the bloodline of a supplanter, and was apostate then would he also be considered a false messiah or Antichrist? Many have hear me say the Antichrist is alive right now, but many have no idea about what that means to me. So again If their is a bloodline of Jesus, and this bloodline rules over many nations, and one comes in that has the bloodline but also the bloodline of another group, and wishes to supplant Israel with the bloodline of his father, then He is an Antichrist false messiah who will deliver Israel up and affect them, "The work of our hands" and "our punishment" has arrived.

All beings come from the one source which is totally divine and blissful. And to it, all beings return.
The Anti-christ, punishment, Israel- all these dramas are invented by human beings. And these dramas do give some entertainment. And some people's egos are also boosted.
For example, some say Obama is the anti-christ. Any sane person would laugh at this nonsense. Why not Osama Bin Laden?

| |  He cannot be the Messiah because his father was not in the direct line of King David! We have already been through this before. This is one of the requirements for the Messiah. Mary was but Jews do not count the mother's lineage for anything except the Jewishness.
There is no antichrist because there is no godchrist.
Jesus had to be married because he was over 21 and he was an orthodox Jew. No ifs, ands, or buts, he was married. Those were the rules of the day. Even to this day, a Young Male Orthodox Jew better get married and start a family as early as he can.
He was no king of the Jews so he is no threat to the church! They have nothing to worry about. Besides, he did not change the law. He followed the law to the letter!!!!! It was those that came after him that changed the law. He was and orthodox Jew, a Rabbi. You could call him and ancient flower child, but he was a Jew not a christian. The folks that wrote about him warped what he did and changed Judaism into polytheism. The christ was a monotheist.

| | I think maybe you misunderstood what I am saying here. The fact that he was most like married because he was a Jew who kept the law, and again I agree, he did not change the law one bit. His statements on law solidified the laws. That is why any descendants of his would be a threat tot he church. If any were to know openly that Jesus did have a family then it would severely challenge their (perceived) Authority. Of course this would not change any perspective of the Jew, but Christendom would be turned upside down by this revelation. I don't think we are arguing the fact he was a Jew, I can see through Luke's account that he was in line to be king unless I am missing something. I am not saying this on the perspective of being a Jew, I am saying from the Christians point of view, This information if it could be proven would undermine the christian church. Then they would have too look at all their dogmas and search for the truth, This is my mission, to get people to really search for the truth about many things, They have to be willing to examine their belief structure. And come face to face with Jesus. Again I am speaking of the Christians, not the Jew. Then maybe they will realise that the bible is for the Jew, and about the Jew, not the world. when they are trying to mold everything into a western philosophy that was intended for a Mideast Jew. I am trying to see how you are mistaking this post for something it is not. I really don't see that we have an argument, except on the part that you say he was not a light King, and i believe he was, but that still would not make him God. | | | |

----are you saying this genealogy is a fabrication?
what I did learn from this though is why they had to put this long genealogy line in the bible, it was for times like this.
