The parallel universe theory

I heard a theory that if one goes back in time they go to a parallel universe in the past instead of the actual past. Does the same rule apply when going to the future?

So parrallel universes have been proved? Ok, I might go and research this. Very interesting. As for does the same rule apply when travelling to the future well..that depends on if the future has already happened yet or not. My own personal theory about psychics and how they have their skill is that our whole life is already set out for us, already completed when we're born (or maybe even before we're born). That's why we get deja vu-because we've already been there and done it and that's why it FEELS like we've been there and done it. So if my theory is correct well then I guess your theory about parallel universes in the future could be correct. Or...the most likely answer is that we're all wrong and there's no such thing as parallel universes or time travelling I'd like to keep an opened mind though and right now I'm off to study this Elliot fella.
