Are bloggers really help us to make money?

I know that on blogger's we can learn something as well as make some money here so i seriously didn't involve in any sites especially bloggers so can you please tell how can we make money in blog so do we need to follow any steps for that one.

Blogging makes us happy but we need to have network for that one, with out proper network we can't go forward so that what we need which type of blogs do you post usually?
