There are a lot of ups and downs in the Indian cricket team. Whenever they play well or win any match, they are rewarded like any thing. They receive a lot of hype due to which the performance gradually goes down. If you realized that soon after India won the T-20 cup, the performance level gradually went down. There wasn't a consistent performance due to too much of hype received by the players. But sometimes giving too much of hype works for the Indian players. the Indian players are constantly bombarded with the media and they are always into their picture. Due to this reason, probably the Indian players are playing pretty well these days.

There is pressure of anticipation to perform well on every player, Tendulker to Munaf patel feels it. So they try their level best in the game. There is one main factor I see in the recent Indian players is killer instinct which was lacked in previous players. Fearless cricket is symbol of the new Indian cricket team.
