ok i have to admit, spongebob cracks me up beyond words. therefore i wonder, is it even a good show for kids?
they're obviously not going to get the humour in it that us parents do..
my little boy loves the show, but he's only 4, and of course probably doesn't understand a darn thing that's going on.. he just thinks it's hilarious when spongebob starts freaking out and laughing hysterically hahhahah
at what age would you let your kid watch spongebob?

My daughter will be 4 in June and she LOVES Sponge Bob! She is a HUGE fan and has a ton of his toys and stuff. Whenever the show comes on we all watch it together and I find that Sponge Bob is good for kids of all ages. Our 3 year old will laugh at the kid funny stuff like him acting whacky, weird, and silly, & the hubby and I will laugh at the other "adult humor"! Sometimes though if my 3 year old and I watch it together and I'm in one of those silly moods I will laugh at what she laughs at! It feels great to be a kid ...even if it's only for a 1/2 hour or so!
