i have nothing against this guy, but maaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!! please please a lot of performers would have been able to beat this guy including the guy from puerto rico or i would have kept megan and then see this guy go home why oh why i think for some reason because of the success of slumdog millionare they are keeping him trying to give hope to people watching all over the world, but this is a singing competition it is about artistry and it would show constantly every single night he is very inconsistent so i would not mind having to see him leave the show.

I don't think the success of Slumdog Millionaire has an impact of Anoop being on the finals. Anoop performs differently. He does not move around the stage but he does make emotional connection to people listening to his music. He has very smooth vocals. In fairness to him, he manages to make songs he sing his own... And oh, he records beautifully. I believe you haven't listened to the studio versions of the songs he performed. He also improved a lot. But it's ok. It's just a matter of personal taste and I only find people who understand and can grasp Anoop's style.

I agree, I don't want him to stick around. He's okay, but not great. He is another person getting those sympathy votes I think. I like Allison, Kris, Danny, and Adam. They have been my top 4 from the beginning, though the order changes weekly, lol. Lately Kris has been my number one...he's doing great in my opinion. I guess I'm okay with Anoop being around a week or two more as I don't see him getting into the top 3, so I'm good. If he happens to get that far, I won't be happy. lol

anoop will shine better if he's in a group (like his college singing group - i saw him in youtube and i thought he sounded ok) i have to say that he has been making the right song choices lately that's why he's always safe... actually i find him overly confident (probably because he's an only child)... but i think he's now controlling himself ( probably somebody told him to just tone it done a bit...) and i agree with you, i think his popularity also is partly due to the "slumdog.." thing...ha!ha!
