Disease osteoporosis is reduced bone density is progressive, so that the bones become fragile and easily broken. Bone consisting of minerals such as calcium and phosphate, so that the bones become hard and dense. If the body is not able to manage the mineral content in bones, the bones become less dense and more fragile, so there osteoporosis. 15 years ago I had osteoporosis at one of the backbone segment. It's very sick. It's hard to sit (especially in a soft chair) and do not hold up too long. Does not hold strong pain, then I went to the doctor experts. Once that's done some checking health, doctors recommend to pin installed, but I refused. I choose to swim regularly. I know this method from one of the health book. The first month I swim every day for about 1 hour. Swim relaxed, without the use of the strong. And I sleep on board, in order to align my spine. In the second month and so, reduced the frequency of swimming. 6 months later I feel much better, until now ... I suggest that you diligently swim, before you hit osteoporosis. Happy swimming..

No, swimming can't cure osteoporosis - but swimming is a great way to exersise. To get higher density of your bones it needs to get pressure on them a thing that swimming doesn't do. But since swimming doesn't impact on the bonestructure it tend to ease the problems you'll get from the osteoporosis(pain and so on) you'll also get stronger muscels and that will help to. To prevent osteoporosis you shall exersise much as long as you grow - jumping, running and so on as much as you can. Never start to smoke and use your body a lot when you're grown up!
