You can start a dog walking or house sitting buiness. It will cost a little bit of money to print flyers to post, but you will make that back plus some if you take it serious. You could also see about selling food/drinks in your dorm. You can buy a thing of drinks for a few bucks and sell if for a good profit. Hope this helps!

If you want something that requires no initial investment look at things like dog walking, house sitting and typing. You can print up some cheap fliers for a couple dollars and post them in the laundry, fast food places and grocery store bulletin boards. For a little cash you can buy a heat pres machine (under $75.00) at a craft store and do some small printing jobs. Check local businesses that might want a web site set up; if you have the computer experience you can offer services to them for a monthly fee or a one time cost. Babysitting is always an option but most of the time it is more hassle than what it is worth. Most people will pay more to have their dogs walked than they will to have their kids watched .. go figure.

I agree with Veganprince on selling trinkets because the investment is little. I also recommend you to sell trinkets online because the cost is much cheaper than opening a real store. That's just my opinion....

Some schools have available part-time jobs for their students. Some of my friends worked in the library, dormitories and canteens when we were in college. I also did some odd jobs for some of the researchers in our school. Try to coordinate with the office of student affairs for this.
If you have a knack on selling things, follow some of the suggestions above. Just make sure you sell your things on cash - no credit.
Aside from the household chores others shared, you may also try to do some tutoring for grade school kids.
