An Easter song for my friends

good to hear from, it's been a long time. my easter was nice, hope yours was.

That song from Don Francisco always stirred my emotions because of its truth contained therein, I think Dolly did a great job with the song and the choral team assisting her with the chorus, WOW!!! I just wonder if she she really believes what she sings, or just does it for monetary purposes? I am sure some secular artists have the belief in Christ and want to express their musical talents on Christian music, but I think some artists do it strictly as a moneymaker.

This is a great song and it has a great message about God. My day went pretty good today.

Oh I love this song. I first heard it sung by Ray Boltz. It gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it.

It is a beautiful song and very moving, I was expecting Jesus to come walking out onstage at the end of the song...ha. I'm not a real big Dolly fan, but she did a good job on this song, and I do like some of her music. My Easter was great, spent time with friends and family, and ate too much of course...haha. I hope yours was good also.

I am almost moved by it. It is so lovely and a fitting tribute to the risen Savior. I will also listen to the Don Francisco version. Our Easter was quiet. I went to services in the morning and the afternoon. We were expecting our sons to come over, but they had other plans. So I guess I will have to call them and find out what happened. So my husband and I had just a quiet Easter - (yes and if they do not show up, we're going finish up that Easter Candy we bought.)

That is a beautiful song and I don't think I have ever heard it. I may have but I'm not sure. The song has a strong message about the resurrection of Jesus. I had a happy easter, went to eat with my fiance with his fam.

glad to see you back. I was going to send you a pm but I havbe not been on Mylot much this past week. Can you believe that the sound is not working on my pc so I cannot hear the song regretfully. We had a busy but beautiful Easter. The washing of the feet service was on Thursday, Good Friday we had a very moving Church Service. Easter Saturdsay morning was very sad as a young church Sister is dying with cancer. She will leave a 13 year old son. We celebrated Mass for her at her home and she received the sacrament of healing. This used to be called the 'Last Rites'. I just pray that God will give her the grace to accept His will and know that her son will always be in His care. She clung to her son all of the time and they were both crying. We each laid our hands on her and prayed a silent prayer. Easter Sunday. I read one the the readings in church on Easter Sunday - that is always a humbling and blessed experience. MY DIL came in on Easter Saturday and the twins are overjoyed to be with their Mommy again. Today, Easter Monday, is a public hoiliday but I am at work for this morning. This afternoon we will take the twins to the park and then to the pool and then wander around with an ice cream. My DIL is only here for a week so they should all be together as a family for this week. Actually, I have just decided not to go with them as I think that they should have family time together. So I will do washing and cook supper for everyone. I do hope that you had a Blessed and Happy Easter. The Lord is risen ans the crioss is empty. Have you read a book called The Shack? It is amazing
