Do you watch Life is beautiful?

I agree with you. It´s a story about a love between father and son but it also shows other kinds of relationships. There´s also the love of the other prisoners towards the little boy.

Yeah I saw it when I was in College. Our Philosophy teacher required us to view that film and made reaction paper afterwards. Its one of the movies I did not regret of watching, full of lessons in life and the title itself talks about life--La vita è bella.

Life is Beautiful holds a special place in my heart as it was the first film I had purposelly watched which had subtitles and it didn't disappoint. I agree with the story really focussing on the bond between Guido and his son and it is really touching the lengths he goes to to protect his son from the stark realism of their situation.

For me one of the things that I love about Life is Beautiful is the fact that you don't really need to read the subtitles to understand the gist of the film. It is so beautifully acted and directed that what happens on the screen tells the story similarly to the way silent movies worked.

I saw the movie recently. This is the best movie made on earth ever. When movies like this come out, peace will start spreading in the world. Hats off to the director. He simply rocks.

This may be one of the best films ever made. I've never seen a movie with such a balance of hysterical comedy and serious drama. Roberto Benigni totally deserved his Oscars. People on this site have said such negative things about him and this film. Mr. Benigni had a lot of guts to make this film, and there's not another film like it. He handled both the comedy and drama aspects beautifully. I loved the beautiful cinematography, scenery, and the characters. This movie is magnificent in every way. Don't miss it!
