I think the best thing to do in a hot hot day is taking a bath twice in a day.
I then drink a very cold juice from a fresh fruit, never take a very chilled drink from the refrigerator because it does not help your condition healthy, but it will just produced some unwanted mouth sores and tonsilitis.Just make some fresh fruits juices in a shaker, then just distribute to all members of the family to enjoy its quenching taste. It will keep you healthy, strong, energetic, and away from heat stroke. Aside from juices, you can also drink plenty of water because it could help your body to regenerate lost liquids and minerals. Remember that you must consumed eight glasses of water aside from the water you take after each meals. When you walk in the sidewalk, you can not avoid the heat from the sun rays with the deadly ultraviolet rays and radiation, so you must go to shady places to avoid having a heat stroke. How about you, dear mylotter?

I try to avoid going outside when it is hot outside. I drink plenty of fluids especially water. I was told to never drink juice or soda when outdoors. Soda is too sweet and some juices can be sweet as well.

Thank you very much for the response.A glass of juice is okay,as long as it is real fruit juice, not ready mix juices. We also needed sugar in our body so that we can have plenty of energy, and do not feel weak quickly when having some fun or just walking. Then,we must have 8 glasses of water, not including the water we take after every meals,so that our body systems could function very well.Unless you are diabetic, that you need to have precautionary food intakes to lower your sugar, that is why some patients are having a dose of insulin everyday,to control their sugar level normal.

To avoid heat strokes is a must to know about in south Florida. You need to stay hydrated all day long when its hot outside and your going to be outside a lot of the day. Drink plenty of water and try to find shade when possible. Try drinking drinks with electrolytes in it as those help you stay hydrated. Also if going to be in the heat for along time in one day don't wear pants, jeans or long sleeve shirts as that will kill you and you will become hydrated and feel weak very fast. Wear shorts and a tank top as that will help you stay cooler. Staying hydrated is a very important thing to always remember when out in the sun.

Thank you very much for the response.I am sorry for not responding you immediately.
You are correct, that drinking plenty of water makes us hydrated all day, especially those that have a electrolytes content, yet it is not good for me,because it just makes me have a sore in my mouth, after two days prior to my drinking, then I just discover to have a sore in my mouth.I have proven these many times, that every time I drink these water with the electrolytes content, that it really is the culprit why i have a sore mouth, that is why I avoided to drink it,yet it really is very refreshing to consume its content.I prefer just plain mineral water, after I quenched a fresh fruit juice.
