I like playing basketball and I am a good shooter in some way. While I have trouble in shooting a one-third ball my arm is not strong enough. But I had done this before following a boy's advice who is aroug 12 years. But recently, I try hard to make a one-third ball but failure.
can you give me some advice what I can do to throw the ball higher and longer??

it sounds like you are around the age of 10-12 years old. if this is correct then I would suggest that you do not shoot 3 pointers until you get older and stronger. By trying to shoot a 3 pointer now, you will teach yourself the wrong way to shoot and pick up bad habits. In the future you will have bad mechanics and be a bad shooter from ever spot on the court. My advice is to shoot shots that you can make my shooting the ball correctly. When you get older and stronger you will be able to shoot 3 pointers very well because you will be shooting the ball the correct way.
By the way, the majority of the power when shooting the ball comes from your legs not your arms. Be sure to bend your knees and get your legs into the shot and extend your arm to the sky. have the ball on the fingertips and make sure that you are squared up to the basket.

I'm sure there are some classes you can take locally that will help. If you are on a team, you should visit www.taylorcointl.com they have the best prices on the internet for basketball uniforms.
