Addictive Internet |
|
Hi,
Today internet is very popular and many people enjoing it in their free time. I'm not telling that it's wrong or something. I want to say that could be addictive. Especially kids are the most exposed on it influence. What do you think. Should it be dangerous? If yes, how we can protect against it? What's your opinion?
Best wishes, fiszos

Before considering the child, even the aged, who became familiar with internet few months or few years back are became highly addict to it and they are not able to avoid them. If we want to prevent our child from being addict to it, is avoiding the internet connection in our home.I am familiar with the net only for about 10 months only. But I am online at least 18 hours in a day without proper sleep. Though I know well, this is very bad to my health, I am not able to control.

Children should never be unsupervised while using the internet, and their time online should be restricted. Adults really need to take responsibility for themselves, and practice some self-control. If you spend too much time online, force yourself to get away from it. It's sad that so many people look to outside sources to monitor and regulate them...do it yourself!

Not every people are able to control themselfs, there are still many who see only their deskop as whole world. Internet is only one and it have much more sites like facebook. Of course I can include here all multiplayer games via internet and online games.

They shouldn't be allowed to go through sites that show violence, gore, etc.. most especially r-18 ones..

There is a lot of application programs today, which save for us history of visited web sites. Of course we can turn on some kind of parental blockade and made contents forbidden (ban it). Than we'll have more time for ourselfs.
