Really? I haven't heard about those medicinal benefits of the grass. Thanks for sharing.

What I know is that lemon grass is added to rice, lechon and glutinous rice to give them more appetizing smell. The lemon grass also eliminates the "porky" smell of the lechon and bad smell of rice.

I also read somewhere that the lemon grass plant is an effective insect repellent specially against cockroaches. Just put this plant in a place and almost all insects in the perimeter will move away.
