Maybe he needs to try other spicies for his food ;) Actually to much salt aint healthy for you, it will hold to much on your bodywater, so it will get stuck in your body, and have a harder time getting rid of all the "wastes" your body create during the day.

i don't eat too much salt.i heard that our northerners prefer salty food, maybe your friend is a true northerner.but as we know eating too much salt will cause many healthy problems, such as high blood pressure, kidney stone and so on.so you had better tell your friend to eat less salt.i also like sweet food such as ice cream and milk tea, though i don't think it is good to have too much sugar.just have a balanced diet.

For most people 90 percent of their salt intake is through eating processed and pre-packaged foods. There is a lot of salt in these foods as a preservative and for flavor. Avoiding these types of foods will drastically lower the salt intake. But it is not so much the salt that is bad for you, rather the ratio of potassium to sodium. They should be balanced. Anyone with a high sodium intake should also have a high potassium intake. Avacados, bananas, potatoes are all high in potassium.

I don't eat salt at all. When I cook I don't put salt on the food. I have never salted my food. My husband is used to this and salts it when it gets put in front of him. If you eat too much salt it is bad for you. Here is a article about why too much salt is bad for you.
