So I have shared a while back how my son has always had trouble sleeping at night. He fights his sleep then wakes constantly. So i kept nagging the doctor about it. Like any mother would do keep questioning and researching her options. So yesterday the doctor ran a test called an upper GI. It was real hard on both of us. As my son cried on that table while I was asked to leave the room. Tears streaming out of my eyes waiting in the waiting room. Luckily those twenty minutes went by fast and he was in my arms again. The doctor thinks acid reflux may be the cause of his sleep disturbances. Which makes sense because his father, my fiance, has similar problems. But its the last thing i would have suspected. So we have to try this new medicine to see if it helps and to see if he sleeps better. I guess i will know after a few months. I think it will take at least three or four months to see any changes. Just wanted to share.
