That's no longer the case. Platinum Lounge is not paying at the moment. They are busy trying to move to their new sites which won't be up for quite a while. From what I've heard so far, the old method with the ranks won't be used anymore. The new method is that you earn points and cash it out yourself. I'm not sure how many points you need to cash out for certain amounts of dollars yet though. But you can still post there now. All the points earned now will be transferred to your new account.

Basically, just ignore those ranks, they are irrelevant now. Good luck posting there. If you're active you might be able to cash out the first day the new sites come up.

This site is lunching a new site which likely to be run in one month as stated by the site manager once the new site up and run the point you accumulating will be credited towards new site so payment will be sent to occupied ranker on very first day.
