Try blogspot.com. or wordpress.com. Both are excellent sites that give yoiu a lot of control over your content and earnings.

i would recommend blogspot if you are going adsense based, since its easier with the fully automized process of adding them

wordpress is another great option since wordpress provides TONNES of features so you can monitize your site multiple ways

if you are thinking of using adsense, it would be easier for you to use blogger as it is easier to get it approved.
