Metal fans scared of liking anything else?

I listen to every kind of music, but i only buy hard rock or heavy metal because it's what i really like.
I like all kind of genres that have a guitar. Electronic, no thanks!

I'm a metal head and I love pretty much all metal. Everyone has their roots. Like from watching music channels and radio stations. I like some stuff that I won't admit to.

I'm open to other styles but I just don't like them (if rock is counted as metal), no matter how hard I try. I still like a good bass line when I hear one, though, no matter what music genre But unlike many metal fans, I only like a few sub-genres. I even like rap more than something like Black Metal
