Charcoal, Gas, or Smoking? Which way would you rather BBQ?

I think they both taste different of course. I'm not a big fan of the charcoal at all and i don't seem to like the taste much. I would have to stick with the Gas Grills, they make the food taste so much better to me and it doesn't have a weird and funny taste to me. Everyone is entitled to there own opinions and everyone isn't going to have the same one. Have a great day mylotting

I use charcoal grills. I really dont care for the taste of gas. Smoking isnt to bad but I really prefer charcoal.

Hello harmonee. I had only one-time barbecue experience. When we were having a barbecue, we were offered only charcoal for BBQ. I have to say that I like the taste and still miss it. It tasted good. If possible, I would like to have another BBQ with my friends and colleagues.

I have never tried a charcoal BBQ. I have BBQ'd on charcoal before though and the results were magnificent. Currently, we BBQ on propane. It is good, I like it. I have never used smoke to BBQ either.
I am hoping to use the outdoor BBQ with charcoal this summer. I love it. Once the coals are shimmering red and not smoking as much, the food can begin to be prepared and it does taste wonderful. Looking forward to my vegetable and seafood shiskabobs.

I have to have my charcoal I have a thing about this. I mean to me using gas is just not the same. I feel if I am gonna cook on gas I might as well do it inside. I guess if you wanted to cook a big thing of meat the gas grill would work a lot better. Take care and happy mylotting to you.

I've only ever tried charcoal so can't compare, but I would believe it's the most authentic way for a BBQ. You still get that smoked taste from charcoal too, or at least it is with the way my daughter and SIL do it!
