How would you spend $1000  

Clothing needs.. patio furniture.. stock my pantry to the hilt, go visit a friend... buy a new bed for my daughter, save some for the holidays :) help my sister pay off a loan.

Sadly, I would have no fun with the money. I’d use it to pay of credit cards. Got to get out of debt before I can have any true fun with lotto winnings. :)

I would pay all my bills and settle all my credit card charges so I won't be harrassed by collectors anymore. I was really dumb to lend my card to my "bestfriend" and I ended up paying for all his purchases because he can't pay for it. :( Now I feel depressed...

Well, my mom needs some dental work right now... so if she'd let me give it to her, I'd do that. If any was left over, I'd buy some treats and toys for my dog. He's been out of treats for weeks - no money for it :\ Poor thing. If there was any left after that, I'd probably buy some craft items, so I could make stuff. Anything after that, I'd donate somewhere online for animals. A few dollars isn't a lot, but when I have a few extra dollars, I donate it there... it'll add up, right? :)

its hard to say. there are a lot of things that i could do with that kind of money. well the fact that i live in the usa that might be more money when it gets converted in to us dollars. the frist thing that i would do is pay for my schooling so that i dont have to worry about it. what ever money i would have left of i would put it in the bank and let it grow more so that i could life off of it and do other things with that money.

i notice that when most people win the lottery they spend the money before they even get it, and most of the time they go into debt because of it. personally i dont spend money that i dont have. thats way i dont have any credit cards or any thing of that sort.

As much as I'd like to use the money to buy a bunch of CDs and DVDs, I would pay off some of the school bills I still owe. Either that, or buy myself some car insurance.

$1000 I would send my parents 500 and the other 500 would go to my bills.

I would also spend it in my house. But I´d love to redo the garage including throwing away lots of stuff that have been there for decades. I would change the roof and probably have part of it of a material as to have the sunlight pass so I can have some plants in pots.

I would put it in the bank. In these bad times it's always good to have as much cash in reserve as possible. I would buy a CD or something that would earn a return on my investment and yet keep the principal intact. I would love to spend it on my house or beautifying my yard but that's not really wise in these hard times.

That would be hard to say. I could put some in the bank for the kids & ours + pay ahead on some bills. I could also work on our garden as well, I'm always itching to make improvments only problem is we have less income this time of year but of course when we do we have a heat bill to contend with. *sigh*
