Difference between....Happyness and Joy!!

What is the difference between happyness and joy!!!??? I am really not getting any major points except for one....

i think that happiness is remains for a longer time whereas joy remains for a shorter time period. for example u will experience joy when u will earn a 1000$ in one minute. But u wont fell happy when u get this. happiness comes steadily and goes on steadily. well u will fell happy when u r with ur girlfriend , this comes from inside and is not a sudden feeling.

My view is joy is only the skin but happiness is deep inside.
