Can you judge the quality of an item base on its price?

Some people always judge on the quality base on its price. So, if you have an expensive watch, or an stereo, it might last longer, and produce better quality than other cheap items. So, in general, those items sold in wal - mart might not have good quality in them, and you might to re - consider other retail stores if you need high quality items. Do you agree with this statement?
