To be honest, it's hard to tell a young person that they will regret it later. You can look online and see the horrible images of cancer but that still doesn't seem to stop us. Let's try a different angle, vanity. Here is the truth of the matter...... Your teeth will suffer for it, turning black, rotting. Your skin suffers too, making early wrinkles. You are more susceptible to colds, bronchitis, etc. You have to take frequent breaks simply from walking, much less hiking or running or any other active activity. So, you want to feel and look like an old hag while you are still young? And the prices are going haywire. Do you know the money you could set aside for a really amazing vacation if you put that $40.00 a week up? Some people spend twice that! So, you like coughing up phlegm? Yes, very attractive. You get up coughing. You cough all day. You cough at night. And yes, it can kill ya! I've seen people missing part of their mouths, part of the inside and the outside. So, it doesn't happen to everyone. Do you really want to risk this. Won't be to kissable then. I know, that's harsh, but maybe it will get someones attention. Good luck.
