| |  I believe American Idol is a good show to watch with the entire family. It's a good show and shows good morals of people and they all tell stories when they sing i believe. I don't know what others shows are on that the entire family would enjoy but maybe shows on TLC like Jon and Kate plus 8 would be good. I know a lot of people watch the Disney Channel and i think that is a good channel for the entire family to watch.
If not watching TV you could always put in a video of your choice that the entire family would enjoy since there isn't much of a choice with watching TV all the time.

I find it sad when you have to edit cartoons before letting your child watch it. | |  Personally without Cable it could be very hard to find appropriate type shows that are good for the whole family. Actually there are many times I find my husband watching something that would not be appropriate for someone with kids. But as to what shows are Best, that I am not really sure. I guess you need to continue to do research or get things like the Cartoon Channel or Disney and then decide from there.
