What is descent enough.....

for the whole family to watch these days. I very seldom watch anything with the family anymore because the last time I searched for something for my family and I to watch their was nothing but trashy shows on. Do you know of any good family value shows out their?

I believe American Idol is a good show to watch with the entire family. It's a good show and shows good morals of people and they all tell stories when they sing i believe. I don't know what others shows are on that the entire family would enjoy but maybe shows on TLC like Jon and Kate plus 8 would be good. I know a lot of people watch the Disney Channel and i think that is a good channel for the entire family to watch.
If not watching TV you could always put in a video of your choice that the entire family would enjoy since there isn't much of a choice with watching TV all the time.

Personally without Cable it could be very hard to find appropriate type shows that are good for the whole family. Actually there are many times I find my husband watching something that would not be appropriate for someone with kids. But as to what shows are Best, that I am not really sure. I guess you need to continue to do research or get things like the Cartoon Channel or Disney and then decide from there.
