What food can i make for a party?  | |  Its a birthday party for a 18 year old. I was left in charge of the food and man I didnt realise it would be soo hard. The only thing i have on my list is alcohol and birthday cake. Please help . Anything from finger food to... whatever.

| | | | | | | | 1.  vokey9472 (1134) | 8 months ago |  i hope wherever you live that the legal drinking age is 18. otherwise you might want to reconsider the alcohol. i only mention this because a few years ago here where i live a girl's parents gave her an 18th birthday party and server champagne to the guests. it was held at the girl's home and her parents were the ones serving the champagne, however the guests were all under 21 (the legal drinking age here). a few guests got a little tipsy and had to call their parents to come get them. the birtday girl's parents got arrested for serving alcohol to minors and then some of the other parents sued them in civil court. it was a real mess.
other than that most party food is pretty easy. you can do cheese cubes, a veggie platter, fruit tray, finger sandwiches, nuts, chips and dips, hot wings, sausage balls, cheese ball with crackers, there are so many choices.

| | 2.  anna728 (578) | 6 months ago |  Anything that you can just pick up and walk around with. And that won't be messy. Stuff like chips or popcorn would be obvious choices, I suppose. You could also have something like mini sandwiches out, or fruits or vegetables. Maybe cookies or something.
