Are the brother of someone? I am. Do you know what it's like to be a brother? Painful but survivable. But either way, whether you are elder of younger, it is painful to be a brother. For me anyway. What about you? Is it enjoyable or painful like I feel?

both. it is enjoyable but painful at the same time. in my case, i am the second eldest in the family. my older brother seems to be a very good companion and confidante of me. but what makes this relationship painful in my case is the fact that i often do much of the responsibilities he supposed to carry. i finished college ahead of him, and find a job first. i have this thinking of taking our parents the financial burden of sustaining the family needs. most of my income goes to the monthly expenses of the household that includes me paying the tuition of my older brother. that has never been a problem to me for a quite sometime, but what bothers me is the fact the he enjoys much of his teenage life than concentrating in his studies and thinking of the future to help me and my family. now, our dad is having treatment, i cannot open to him the fact that i am having hard time financially.i cannot bear to see him in a sad face everytime i say i "i don't have" or " i got none". i even give up my ambition of finishing a masters degree because of our condition. that is why i can always say being a brother is enjoyable and painful at the same time
