I read from yahoo news that Miss California did not win the Miss USA crown (for Miss Universe delegation)because her answer to the final question did not suit well with the organizer's opinion. Miss California's answer that she don't agree with marriages between man and man and woman and woman ( I have to state this way so that my discussion will be posted without mentioning the taboo word which is of a mature content) that's happening in the US was a very decent one and that was her own opinion, I don't think we can be criticized with our opinion in a democratic country. Losing a crown is very ridiculous just because your opinion did not match with other people's silly principle. In the Philippines, marriages between a man and a man and woman and woman is condemned. But I admire Miss California's very Christian and decent answer. It's her upbringing that made her stand with her principle which is admirable of all.

I agree with your opinion for this case. It's been a long time in my mind that every beauty contest have no fairness. We know that for the knowledge test, the contestants got taught before by the organizer's team. I think all the run down is scenario. Perhaps in miss California's case, she felt unpleasant if breaking her own principle. I think she is great. Contestants who have no principles are just beauty dolls. I hope she will get more respect from many people with same principle with her. Good luck.
