How would you feel if your husband/wife lost your wedding ring?

It's a ring.. a piece of jewelry, a symbol. Accidents can and do happen. What matters is the love, not the jewelry.

I would feel bad as well knowing that my partner doesn't give importance to special things like that. A wedding ring is like our bond...so if he looses it...then its like he doesn't care at all.

What a pity! That's wedding ring, It's important for the couple. Of course losing one we can buy a new one but I think the meaning is different. At the bottom of my hear the wedding ring is the only and no one can replace it.

Hello my friend,If my husband lost his wedding ring, of course I will feel very bad and upset but it depends on how and where he lost it.I might ask him to search and look for it carefully, maybe it can be misplaced.However,if it is because of his negligence and carelessness then I might be angry with him too.Wedding ring means so much to me than just a simple finger ring.It is a bond.

Also, accidents can do happen and one can lose the ring.That is acceptable,it may upset me but I will try to digest the fact that he had lost his wedding ring.Get him another similar one and put on.Have a lovely day!

My husband lost his wedding ring. Of course, I felt bad after it happened but then it was an accident, I know he felt bad too when he lost the ring. It would be pointless if I nag him or quarrel with him about it because no amount of words or quarreling will bring back the ring. And besides, the ring is just a symbol of our bond. If we lose the symbol, it does not mean that the bond is lost too.

This is just exactly what me and my husband were talking about yesterday and many times before that. We share the same points of view towards our wedding rings. It can be lost due to some reasons that are not of our own doing. Yes, our wedding rings symbolize our bond as husband and wife, but losing one or both doesn't mean that the love that brought us together is also already gone. We sometimes forget to wear the rings (because we always take them off our fingers the instant we enter our home) and we do not put so much attention to that. What matters is we know we are secured in our love and commitment to each other and we believe it is God who unites and keeps us closer to each other. Hello, n30wing!

I was upset when hubby lost his ring! Especially since our minister had left the area we can't just get another blessed ya know?!?!? Then he found it. Then he lost it for good. I bought a cheap replacment and he lost that too. But now his work will not allow them to wear their bands wich has me even more upset. I dunno, I like to look @ his ring and know that the whole world knows he's special to his wife.
