Simon Cowell: Love him or Hate him???

Ahhh, Simon is that guy, eh? He loves to be a jerk! I love him.
I bet that he is probably a very nice guy away from the American Idol stage. They play his "character" up in the show. He will only usually say terrible things about a contestant when he can disagree with the other judges. Again.....a part of the show.
So, I love Simon Cowell.
What do you think about him???

Simon doesn't love to be a jerk, he's a real jerk. 
Just like you, I like him too. He always give his honest opinion. (Oops, I do think he's just trying to make people laugh with his first few lines about Susan Boyle in the GBT show.) It does not matter whether you are everyone's favorite or the other judges likes you, if you sang and performed bad, you will know that from Simon. And if you really did good, he will praise you.

Do you ever find that you disagree with Simon? He is usually right on, but sometimes I think he is just trying to test the contestant. You gotta be able to hold up in that kind of business.

Yes, I do. There are songs I think a contestant is good but Simon thinks otherwise, or the other way around. Maybe it's a matter of preference thus the disagreement. But all in all, his fairness and straightforwardness really are the things I admire the most. I also think that his harsh criticisms are to motivate the contestants do better.

To me, its like he and Chef Gordon Ramsay were separated at birth. I love that Simon doesn't sugar-coat anything. If you sound like a cat in a blender in a thunderstorm, he is going to tell you...I also love that he does it with what seems to be no concern or remorse for what he is saying. He doesn't apologize even when people start crying and want to argue back..I love that guy!

He is a riot! But it catches my sideways that most of those people just keep thier mouths shut. I realize that they are trying to land a deal, but you can say what you got to say, without being vulgar.
What would you do? Would you have to tell him about himself?

I love Simon even if he is naughty.The show's rate would go down without him.
