Do you believe in psychic powers?

Personally, I don't know if a person were to tell me that they were psychic, I would most likely be very skeptical.

But lets think about that for a moment. If a radio antena can pick up signals that you or I cannot see with our own eyes. Perhaps your mother can pick up signals that you or I are unaware of.

I don't know. I would go betting my life savings on one of your mama's predictions! Lol. But maybe you should listen to her once in a while. Maybe she will amaze you! Let me know!

Believe me it might be rare to hear such a thing in the US but in India daily you can hear a lot of such things and people have a very very high belief here in such psychic powers. So much so that some times when for some reason medicine can not cure a disease people take the help of such power to get rid of the ailment ..... also sometimes it might be for excellence in business people will call upon such powers. Though myself I kind of do not believe too much in them but seeing people around me with so much devotion and belief makes me wonder that maybe something exists beyond our known scientific knowledge.

I believe that not only your mom, but each and every one of us is psychic. We are born with the inner knowledge but as we grow up, unless we keep in touch with our Spirit, we forget about that knowledge and we stray away from our Source. Some of us, like your mom, hone in to that and keep it growing. Bear in mind, I am not referring here to those people who will tell you just about anything for a few dollars a minute - those are simply scam artists who prey on our vulnerable side. But yes, all of us have psychic powers and through meditation and other mental disciplines, we can all develop this wonderful gift and use it for the good of everyone.

Or maybe she's just a psycho?lol joke only. I do believe in psychic powers. I have a friend who has psychic power. Magicians, they are psychics. Like David Blane, Criss Angel, and others. They can read your mind if they wanted to.

Well I have had ESP but it sometimes it can be a bit scary. It's happened many times in my life. I knew when my grandfather died before anyone else. I woke up being only about 5 years old and told my parents that grandpa had died so they called the hospital and sure enough he had died during the night. The last time I remember a big one was late 2005. My daughter was pregnant and her due date was March 22th. Well I was at work and my calendar on my desk seem to had slipped out of my hand and opened up to March 9, 2006. At that moment I knew my granddaughter was going to be born that day. I called my daughter and said the baby is coming on March 9th. Sure enough she had a doctors appt. that day. The doctor told her go directly to the hospital. She was born March 9 at 11:19pm. I still can't believe it happened but it did. Amazing!

Yes, I definetly belive. Everyone has the capabilities but how much they are apparent depends on environment, upbringing, religiou beliefs. and how much you listen. What is that inner voice, nagging feeling, or inexpained feeling of happiness or dread. Also, God (whatever you choose to call your higher power), gives different "gifts". What we choose to do with these gifts, or how much we choose to develope our gifts is our choice.

I believe that we all have the potential, but it's like playing an instrument some people take to it more and are just better than others. I've had a flash of it from time to time. It's nothing I can control, not that I have really tried to, but I find it an interesting subject. We have all that brain matter up there for something. This just could be a dormant part waiting to be cultivated.

I think psychic powers are very real.. I mean with all our "knowledge" we only use about 5-7% of our brain.

Personally I have had and seen to many strange things to not believe in these abilities. Including a conversation with my husband's dad (dead since 2002) where I felt compelled on a trip from TX to MS to tell him that his dad was mad over a motorcycle he had just bought and answered several questions for him about things I had no clue about.

Not really.. I believe more in bible that the bible says that people are just mortal.
