Love at first sight? Believe in it?  | |  So a couple of simple of questions.
1. Do you believe in love at first sight?
2. If not, how long do you think it takes on an average for someone to truly "fall in love"? Love as in, "I want to be with you forever" type of love.
My answers:
1. I personally do not believe in love at first site. I definitely believe in "infatuation" at first site, or attraction at first site. I just think love is the type of understanding with yourself that no matter what this person does, I will always love them. I just don't think you can get that close to someone by just "seeing" them or even talking to them for a short while.
2. I say "six months" MINIMUM. On the average I would say 1 year. I believe people have to see all 4 seasons with one another to know they are in love.

Sometimes when we see someone for the first time, we get giddy and stuff, like the way we are when we are in love. and some people automatically hit off with each other and they think that it's love. a lot of things can happen which people might regard as love at first sight, but we probably won't even know if it's true or not, until we've experienced it ourselves. I do believe in love at first sight though, nothing's impossible;)

2. I think that for you to fall in love with another person it takes a few months depending upon how often you see eachother. However to fall truly in love as you said "I want to be with you forever" I think it takes years. You can easily be in love, but you are never sure that it is forever love until you have been horrible ups and downs to know that you truly want to be with that person forever! You must know everything about them, how they will react to all situations to know if you could really put up with them forever! | |
