Today i joine a ptc named baydefeis.when i went in its account section to check whether i filled my details in correctly i found something weird
i found my ip address ther.....!!!
how come my ip address is there when i did not give it, i am scared whether they will hack my ip address what should i do, is this site genuine
are there any way to clean my ip address???
please help me..
is dat site safe??

Don't worry - just because they know your IP address doesn't mean that they're going to steal your identity. In fact, when you visit a website, a server typically logs your IP by default. There isn't a need to mask your IP just for surfing. I don't know, but I'm assuming that this website logged it for benign reasons, such as preventing duplicate registration. This prevents you from referring accounts from the same IP address. There isn't a need to "clean" your IP address - just make sure you have some sort of anti-virus software installed and up to date, and don't give out your personal info without researching the site first. :)

No need to worry. Ip address can be catched with some scripting. Usually websites keep the user's ip address for their records. Especially on website which offering a registration. There's many use of the records, such as preventing from cheat or duplicate registration. As long as you are doing registration on credible website, you don't have to worry if they record your ip address. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.
