Modifications in eating habits, plenty of fresh air to breathe, sufficient bodily exercises, stress free environs ....all these greatly contribute to healthy and peaceful living. The maxim has been highlighted by health fads all over the world. But to our dismay we find that many a number of people disregard this worthy advice and prefer to lead a sedentary way of life. This in turn definitely bring in unhealthy trends amongst several thousand population. It is the life style that one pursues which measures the degree of one's healthy or unhealthy conditions. Why not uphold the good faith that HEALTH IS WEALTH...

I think we need to remember that it's not just sedentary lifestyles that create issues. There is evidence that HFCS causes a great many health issues, and it's found in a great many foods, including those that are supposed to be healthy for us. I think also that meditation is a must for a healthy lifestyle because it is proven to lower stress levels when done on a regular basis. Though, I agree with your statement about the quote, I think that education is a must in the area of health. A great many people simply don't know what to do, or have come to their wits end with one fad diet after another that they don't know what moderation really is.

i agree with you but there are a lot of instances that you can't do anything about it like for example if you are in the office or in a party, most of the food available are not. as you would say, healthy. moderation is the key. if health is wealth, what is the use of wealth if you can't enjoy one of life's simple pleasures which is food.

Because for many of us it is easier and faster to eat "fast food" quickly and not exercise rather than plan or actually take the time to plan and do what we need.

I agree with you that some changes in lifestyle can make you living longer .As the old sayig tells us that :a apple a day keeps the doctor away .It means if you can eat the apple every day ,you can have a good health .What"s more ,if you take some exercise every morning ,you can have a good body ,and thus you can live long than these people who don"t take any exercise .

Health is wealth.That's ture.
I guess most people know the importance of health. But not many of them have the awareness to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This maybe has something to do with the modern lifestyle, which in my opinion, contributes to the sedentary way of life and lack of enough exercises to a large extent. You know, with the growing population in contemporary world ,people tend to suffer from greater stress due to the stiff competition. We don't have much free time to care about our own health. Nevertheless, if we bear the faith that health is wealth in mind, and conduct a health lifestyle as a daily routine, I am sure we can lead a happier and healthier life.

Unfortunately... most people under 40... put money ahead of health.
To make money...
You need to live in a congested city full of pollution.
You work hard and are constantly on the run in a stressful environment.
You are so busy that you don't have time to cook...
So you live on packaged frozen meals or takeaway.
People don't really want to live that way...
But they are told that if they want to succeed...
That is what they have to do.
Their only success is to end up very sick by age 50... and heading for an early grave.

its true that healthy life is important for all humans...and to care for our health is the most important factor for all humans, even above the wealth it should be considered. If we give a little bit of time to ourselves, that gives us good health and wealth also togteher

You are definitely right. From what we do and what we take in, will obviously affect our health. But as you have said, many people do disregard this things and obviously later on will suffer. The thing is, a lot of us will only see the value of healthy lifestyle when he or she, has suffered an attack or has this disease. I do hope that for most it is not to late yet... Health is wealth indeed!

Most of us know these things, but choose not to do the right things .we are weak and do things to our body that we know we should not do.

hello :)
yes, I know. I don't know why people have created foods out of disgusting things.
and I don't know why they taste so good xD
starting tomorrow I'm giving up junk food for a month and a half :)
just something a friend and I are doing.
and I'm going vegan for a week in there.
I'm already vegetarian, so it shouldn't be hard.
but seriously, I think that people would be so much better off if we just didn't know the things that are so addicting like junk and just things that aren't healthy.
most people don't exercise because they think they'll just be fine without it.
they don't do anything !
I exercise alot, because I know it's good for me, and I like it, its kind of a habit now ^_^
and a stress-free environment would be really nice ... speaking of environment, :)
I think that when I'm old enough to, I'm going to move to Switzerland.
that is the most environmentally friendly country in the WORLD.
and I'm a very environmentally friendly person :)
so that would suit me very well.
and I imagine people would be very easygoing too.
so thats my plan for a change in my lifestyle.
the "fountain of youth" is in Switzerland. so maybe I'll live longer too ;).
health IS wealth.
ps; nice post subject & have a gooood day :)
peace !

Hello my friend sukumar794 Ji,
Whatever, you have said is much better, but as a Golden rule, that there is always
room for improvement, my hubby has an inherited habit of leaving the bed and completing
all moring natural tasks before Sun-Rises. Even he is retired since more tha 15 yrs
back, he gets up early morning, which contributes to his health a major factor. A proper
and sound sleep allows body to perform better work. Just think it over, if one can get
up early. May god bless you and have a great time.
