WE HAVE BEEN FRIENDS FOR A LONG, LONG TIME. SHE REALLY GETS OUT MORE THAN I DO BECAUSE SHE HAS A BIG FAMILY, SISTERS CLOSE BY ALONG W/NIECES & NEPHEWS. I DON'T HAVE MUCH FAMILY SO IT'S GREAT WHEN WE CAN GET OUT TOGETHER. I MUST SAY OUR GETTING OUT HAS REALLY CALMED DOWN OVER THE YEARS, LOL. I WANT TELL OUR SECRETS OF WHAT WE USE TO DO BUT WE HAD A GOOD TIME. TODAY WE MET FOR LUNCH IN A NEIGHBORING TOWN. WE HAD A GOOD LUCH, WENT SOMEWHERE I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO EAT SO THAT WAS A NICE CHANGE. HOLD ON NOW FOR THE KICKER!! AFTER LUNCH WE WENT TO WAL-MART. I DON'T KNOW HOW WE STOOD THE EXCITEMENT AT OUR AGE BUT WE MANAGED TO SURVIVE & WE BOTH GOT BACK HOME SAFELY. WHO ELSE HAS AN EXCITING SAT. LIKE WE DID?

thanks jenn. she always was bad to lead me astray & get me in trouble. glad she's calmed down. couldn't keep up w.a wild woman anymore. oh yeah, couldn't keep up w/a wild man either, i don't think. lol wish u had been w/us. have a happy sunday.

I was so excited that when I got home I put in a load of cloths to wash and just now remember to put them in the dryer. 6 hous later.I realy did enjoy my self today.We did talk to a man too.Friends for life

I had a GREAT Saturday. My husband took my little one grocery shopping while I napped - I had a headache - have it again now because someone is barbquing!
I also go in some reading on this book series I'm going through.
Walmart is too much for me. Way too much stuff to look at - sensory lverload. And when I was pregnant - it just exhausted me. And the chemical smells made me soooooo nauseous.
By the way antique lady, on the web, when you talk in all caps its like yelling - of course, you were so "excited" maybe you meant to be yelling. :)

Your Saturday was more eventful than mine. I worked in the morning and then did supermarket. i went home and went to bed with a good book. The twins were at the other GM for the weekend. I did not cook and just snacked, read, slept and watched 2 good movies on tv. so glad that you saw a good friend

All the mens strip joints shut on saturday where you are then Went into town with a friend and walked our legs off for four hours shopping we went into every shop and looked at everything.I normally go with my husband or my daughter with one of the kids or we are on a time schedule.This time no kids ,no husband a real girlie look at the make up ,the underwear .shoes ect we treated ourselves to a few bits.Had lunch ,giggled at the waiters,like a couple of teenagers.I fell asleep in the chair when we got back.Fantastic day will be doing it again next month.You go steady with all that excitment antique.xx

Sound like you had a great day out ... Try and do it more often , the great thing is these days we can all keep in touch with these social network sites . I met up with a friend yesterday and went to our local market . we sat outside our local cafe and drank coffee while we chatted and watched the world go by ,aint life good *

Ah yes, the night out at Walmart. This reminds me of one of my dates with my husband last year. We only get to go out a couple times a year without the kids. We went out to the Olive Garden for dinner and then we didn't know what else to do. We really didn't want to spend any more money so we wound up going to Walmart. We were just walking around looking at different things and we happened to run into a couple that we haven't seen in a while. (They never had any kids). So this couple asked what we were up to and I told them it was our "couples night out". Our friends said to us "and you chose to spend it at Walmart?" We all had a good laugh over that one.

it's great y'all are still having dates. doesn't matter where u go. u need that time together w/out the kids. guess the other couple did think it was funny. i love my kids& everybody's kids but adults need some time to themselves. have a good week & thanks for responding.

LOL, sounds like you two had a blast. My neighbor would have been a great addition to your escapade today! She's almost 80 years of and still thinks she's Mario Andretti. Ready to go at the drop of a hat, especially if lunch is being served and Walmart is involved. LOL, so glad Mrs. Kiper isn't on mylot to read that! And NO, I'm not going to give you her email so you can send her a request. I rather enjoy life and wouldn't want to be put down by a lady her age!!
