Bea Arthur of Maude and The Golden Girls fame  |

|  I am sad to say that the great Bea Arthur has passed away. Many of you may have already heard by the time you read this, but I was wondering if anyone would like to share any of your favorite moments when you had the pleasure of watching this lady work. It could be on any show mentioned or anything else that you may have seen her in.
I, myself, am a huge Golden Girls fan, so it would have to be from that show. My favorite thing about watching Bea on that show was the chemistry that she and Estelle had as Dorthy and Sophia. Those two together never failed to make me laugh. Now they are both gone. I will miss you and thanks for all the laughter you brought into the world.

| |  I didn't know she died? I am going to search the internet to find out more information about how and when exactly. I really liked her too. I loved watchng the Golden Girls because they were funny. It's sad because now two of the four are dead no?

| |  I really loved Bea Arthur and she will be missed. I enjoyed her work and especially on The Golden Girls, that show always made me laugh.. I know some people thought it was a silly show but it was always entertaining and funny.

| |  It is sad to hear that she is no longer with us, I was never really a fan of maude but I did enjoy her on golden girls. It was really believable that her and estelle were mother and daughter since the worked so well together.
