Recycling old Mobiles?

I've watched a car show lately wherein participants display old cars that were re-conditioned, custom-built, upholstered (if that's the right term for it). I am dreaming of having my own auto someday, a big one or something that is really spacious for the other members of my family. In connection to this discussion, I am really amazed that people are really putting a great deal of effort in restoring old cars and spend lots of money in order to make it in really fabulous condition. If you're gonna "restore a car", which cars would you love to work on as a project?
