Do you let your child play on the computer? What website does your child use?  

well right now i dont have kids but i have niece and nephews. i have internet cafe so they usually use some computer in here so i told them what the best suitable site for them and what site they should not visit or else i will not let them play or browse the net. well of course they obey me and time to time i look at them what their doing. same thing with some kids that renting pc that below 18 i warn them and of course always look at them what they are doing.

my daughter was now 8 years old, i let her play computer when she was 3 years old, at that time i need to sit beside her and teach her how to control the mouse, now it's ok, but i let her play 1 hours only, she like to play the online games like girlgame.com

We recently got a computer at home and my elder son (7 years old) using paintbrush to draw something and enjoying it. Earlier on holidays he used to accompany with me in office and play games in computer. He used to watch pictures of different animals and birds in net and sometimes go through the rhymes and stories. Now at home my younger son (2 years old) is disturbing much and never allows doing anything so he is not spending much time in computer.

My kids are 8 and almost 11. They use the computer quite a bit, my son uses it the most. They are to the point that they don't really need ( or want ) my help any more. They know which sites they are allowed to go on, and if were they want to go is not on the list they have to get me to check it first. They mostly go on Webkinz, my son will play the games on cartoon network (Star Wars games) and they like poptropica. We try to limit the computer use and they can only use it after homeowrk and chores are done.

My son is 6 and he's allowed two hours of computer time a week. He can chose how he wants to use it, but once the two hours is gone he has to wait til the next week to regain his time back. I don't want him on the computer like some children play video games, non stop. He knows how to get on Nick Jr, Disney, Noggin, PBS, and Starfall. We also use Spellingcity.com, and primarygames.com. We want him to know how to use the computer, but not become depentant on it as us adults have become, lol. He knows the basic's and the rules that come along with using the computer.
