The new disease H1N1 seems to be serious

Today I got to learn more news about the new disease H1N1. It reminds me of SARS. When SARS happened here, I was so scared because someone who I knew died of it. It was a sad and scary experience for me. At that time it seemed that the whole city was in the panic. I hope H1N1 will be under control and won't spread worldwide.

I saw lots of news about H1N1 tonight too!The virus are spreading very fast and now I am afraid of pork.For the healthy of my bf and me,I haven't bought pork for a week already!Take care of yourself,my folk!!

I think the worse is that this virus can be infected by humans, too. Not only pork. This is why this infection can spread so fast.

You can get it from the handling and eating of pork? I could understand the concern of raising swine - but did not think the meat would transmit the virus - I guess I was thinking it was an aireborne transfer??

Hi Youless, I read the news this morning that more than one hundred people die aready because of the H1N1. It seems really serious. Regarding the SARS, that's a nightmare to us as well. I am from the city where the SARS started, but i was study in other province, i can't go home because no one allow to go into that city, and people who just visited that city, has to go to the hospital immediately. I wish the H1N1 can really under control. God bless us all.

SARS is a terrible experience. At that time I even thought I had it. I dared not to see my parents. I only visited them once during that period. But I carried two bottles of vinegar and put them down far away and let my mom to take it after I left. I was afraid I would infect them.

It seems to be very dangerous. it says there is no well known treatment or vaccination for it. God knows from where all these new diseases are coming.

Yes, this H1N1 is s viral disease and I am sure it would be checked from spreading and taking up the form of epidemic.

i really hope so too my friend.. cant bear people dying because of some diseases and people, young or old are all not safe from it.. hope our government and us could help one another to get rid of it!!!
