Do you frequently visit amazon.com for deals on books, music and other things? Most of the books I have in my collection came from amazon.com. I noticed the tags on this discussion and wanted to respond. I do not think that this discussion is against guidelines, but if you were to have put a direct referral link it would have been. Don't quote me on that, but the guidelines are the best place to look for the answer, lol.
As for the search engine, I believe I'm already a member, I haven't checked the site but I'm almost certain / not looking for other sites anyway.

I wasn't sure myself, I read the guidelines afterwards and saw the DO NOT about affiliate links. There's so many different opinions on whether they'll be deleted or not, I just don't know.

You can promote programs on here, you just can't post any links. I see many discussions about joining different sites.

Amazon also has the awesome mturk.com thing going where you fulfill tasks that are posted and earn money. It's a great way to earn some extra bank.
