Do I have to keep the video file on my computer after I uploaded it to youtube?

I'm trying to save file space on my computer and I just created a little video for youtube and I already uploaded it, but I would like to know if I have to keep the video file on my computer or can delete it?

even if you've uploaded it to youtube or any similar site, better to keep another file on a dvd disc if you don't want to waste hard drive space. if the file is not that really important, then a high quality file uploaded to youtube is the next best thing.
