spoon..fork...or both?

both depending on what i'm eating.

Never heard about it...I mean usually we will use a fork here..and only will use spoons for soups, hotpot and such things.
So we usually combine forks with knifes. Is there a possibility to combine Spoon with knife? lol I don' know

The only time we use spoon and fork together is when we eat spaghetti...so we use the fork first...take some spaghetti with it and put the fork on the spoon and then turn the fork while it's on the spoon until the spaghetti won't drop from the fork anymore...and then put the fork to our mouth...lol
Did I really describe how to eat spaghetti right now?!

In my country we only use spoons for soups. the main dishes are eaten with fork and knife to cut. Only little children use spoons to eat but it´s considered bad manners if they don´t learn to use the fork after a certain age.
It´s cultural, I suppose. I´m very clumsy with chopsticks.

I mostly use a spoon for just about everything, but my husband prefers a fork. Whenever we go out to eat they will have silverware but they don't put out a spoon unless you ask for it. I find this frustrating because not everyone uses a fork for everything.

mostly I use a fork for every thing I eat unless it's got a lot of liquid in it, then I use a spoon. I had a brother-in-law that would only use a spoon because he didn't think that you could get a fork clean enough in between each prong.

Well i am still using spoon and fork but i don't mind if i have to use fork for life. lol! Do you still eat rice? I think it's quite difficult to eat rice using a fork especially when they kind of separate then making a mess on your plate. I think can manage to eat using fork but for now i guess i have to use spoon and fork while i'm here in the Philippines.

In my country, esp. when at home, we usually eat using our hand. I prefer using my hand to eat. But in some occasion we use both spoon and fork, and rarely using knife..

BOTH! Actually I can't eat without using spoon and fork.

It's weird, because spoon and fork never make a combination for me. For a course, I take either only spoon or fork and knife. So in fact I use all of three. The first choice is used only for the soup and the yogurt. The second can be replaced by a pair of chopsticks for asian dishes.

Hello Friend! When I eat I really use both. But if I am very lazy to eat I just use spoon and the fork is just beside my plate but unused. I can't imagine myself eating by just using fork. It's hard to eat especially rice when just using a fork.:)
