Do you lock your door when you go out to work? key or security code?

I don t lock my door if i go out, never here peoples don t enter if i am not home, is a small community, and i have a big pet dog who is the best "key" for my house.
Nowbody can t enter if i am not home. Of course if i go for few days, i will lock my door, but when i go to work or shopping, never i use the key.
Do you afraid to let your door unlocked? Do you use a key or a security system?

a big dog,woo,that must scares most strangers
,I do not lock my own house when I go out to work,but the main gate will be locked when I go out,I could use a key but I just pull it and locked automatically.it's safe here

Hey, good for you to have a good guard ! 
I always locked my door every time I go out, nothing really safe these days and I don't have a dog who can be my "key" as well. But I live where there are plenty of neighborhood and I guess that's fine as people can keep an eye while you are at work or somewhere. I don't necessarily have a key though since I am very forgetful at times, I replaced my door locks with number combination stuff. Good God has keep my home safe all the times though... He is my best guard!

Yes i know that is not in safe, but i am sure that happened something i will lock my door...but many years nothing wrongh don t happened here, peoples are so nice, and know each other..and is funny, but i have few old ladyes near to me who know all who enter and who is stranger in this place...just for coriosity...so. i am in safe
