Electricity shortage resulting to increase in electricity bills

Hello tkleyr, good day to you. Well, I have seen in the news yesterday some of electrical companies will really increase the cost of electricity which will be bad for us because as we imagine it's already summer and we need to use more electric fan or aircon to resist the scorging heat of the sun this summer, but because of the electrical increase of payment, I guess we must save more and just accept the truth that we must absorb the heat and to slightly resist it because still even we are in the middle of summer season, the rainy season will also come with us. As you said regarding in your electricity bill which about 1,200 pesos and goes up this month for the amount of 2,600 pesos, I can say that amount is really big and I guess we are slightly the same because in the last month we pay about 1,350 pesos for only the electricity bill and now we just pay about 2,500 pesos which slightly the same with the cost of your bill together with our bill. In my own base opinion, I think the reason why the other electrical companies increase the cost of it is to all people that are consuming great amount of electricty that causes for other place to have power shortage, that's why they increase it is because of that to avoid power shortage, for the reason they know that if they will increase the cost the people will save elecrticity and the use of it will be less than the normal cost of it. For me there are two advantage of it a good and bad advantage. Which in good some how they help other people to avoid electricity shortage in other place, then the other one is people find it very hard to save more electricty and they take or just absorb it. Well, if you want to avoid using match electricty use must find alternatives to save energy. One of alternative is by using a "PAMAYPAY", which other people use in the past to give air and to feel the wind that are blowing through their body. I can say that ther are so many alternatives way to save electricity if we will be just creative and resourceful. I started a similar thread days ago. There, I vented my anger with the even increasing power rate hike. You know what, it's not just me and you getting clobbered by this situation. All who responded in my thread are expressing their disgust of this power rate hikes and add to that the lack of sensibility of the concerned government agencies approving these rate hikes.

Here also the electricity bill is very high. I think now a days the electricity bills are getting higher and higher and we don't have the options, but save electricity in order to cut down the bills. I am sorry to hear that your electricity bill has increased about double of what you usually pay.

Shocking how much it has been raised for just a month. I don't know why but, I don't think they should make it the electric bill that high. I mean, sooner or later no one will ever use the electricity like lights and all. I mean, the electricity will be only be used for the ref and that is it, the rest will resolve to candles. Which will give them less receive of money. I think strategy should be planned in this. So that people will pay less in electricity.
